bancon recently held its highly anticipated annual kick-off of the Global Delivery Hub in Goa, a key event that brings together the India-based Hub team and International management members to align on strategic priorities and companywide objectives for the year ahead. The event marked a powerful start to the new year, reinforcing bancon’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and growth.

The 2025 edition, aptly named “A View from the Bridge,” provided a comprehensive business overview, highlighting the global achievements of the past year and setting ambitious goals for the future. This event serves as a cornerstone for the Global Delivery Hub, enabling the team to reflect on its collective progress and engage in meaningful conversations about the company’s direction.

Key moments from 2024

The kick-off served as a platform to firstly reflect on the company’s successes in 2024. Key highlights included a 189% increase in Global Delivery Hub headcount, the successful expansion of the India subsidiary into a self-sustaining and profitable operation, and an increase in market presence across strategic regions such as South Africa. Additionally, bancon secured ISO 27001 certification and continued its commitment to operational efficiency by aligning global processes and strengthening partnerships.

The Global Delivery Hub has been a pivotal component of bancon’s strategy in providing critical SAP expertise to key strategic clients. With a growing team currently reaching 50 skilled consultants, spanning both functional and technical SAP roles, one of the standout achievements celebrated during the kick-off was bancon’s ability to attract and retain top-tier talent. Remarkably, the Global Delivery Hub recorded zero attrition in 2024, a testament to the company’s strong work culture. bancon is set to significantly expand this hub in 2025, with particular focus on increasing its presence in the loans management and payments domains, as well as expanding its testing capabilities, to match evolving client demands.

There was a big emphasis on global collaboration at the event. With 28 active projects delivered by the Global Delivery Hub in 2024 across the company’s regions, bancon aims to continue to strengthen its delivery capabilities this year. To further develop the Global Delivery Hub, the company plans to invest in leadership capacity, enhancing the operational structure and delivery capability. This will include introducing a refined team structure, which fosters motivation and professional development while preserving the company’s valued flat hierarchy.
